Saved from Slaughter – Please Do Your Part

I want to share our success story ! It is about the race horse who change MY life !

Laurie Tuozzolo

See the Bits & Bytes Farm Mission Statement for another great video.

This video is part of a contest and is dedicated to my ex-racehorse, Kim’s Rahy, who I rescued eight years ago. He represents the thousands of horses, just like him , who deserve a second chance. This video is entered on behalf of CANTER NEW ENGLAND and their undying efforts to see it through that no horse falls through the cracks and ends up in a slaughterhouse. Please Support the Prevention of Equine Cruelty Act 2009. Write your Congressmen and Senators, and help save the lives of our nobel horses.  Thank you!! –Laurie

First Ride for Finder’s Chance and Jim

Finders Chance and Jim enjoy a little saddle time

Finders Chance and Jim enjoy a little saddle time

Jim rode Chance yesterday for the first time. He fussed and threw his head and jigged for about five minutes until Jim got him settled down. When Jim rode him today, he never did so much as stick his chin out! They have really connected.

The only time Jim’s back doesn’t hurt is when he is riding!

Chance was perfect at the farrier’s.

Chance LOVES being out with the boys. I can’t tell that he has buddied up with anyone in particular yet.
