Admiration Has A New Home

Hi Elizabeth,
Just wanted to let you know that Admiration aka “Huey” now belongs to Jane Morley of Schuyler, VA – the same Jane Morley that owns Caritas and Cat.  Nice to keep it all in the family :)   Thanks so much for setting up his for sale page and helping me find a great new home for him.  It’s sad that he’s gone, but I know he’s going to have the best of care and be well loved, so I can’t really ask for anything else.  Hopefully I’ll be back your way in a couple years to help another horse into a new career.
Fond regards to you and Barry,
Whitney

Titania Has a New Mom!

UPDATE November 2009: Titania aka “Titanium” aka “Ana” was sold to by her owner Michelle Stupey to Julie who wanted to take her and work with her. Michelle knew she would take wonderful care of her. The last report she her about her work under saddle, is that she was doing wonderfully, and that Julie was loving every moment of her. Julie’s future plans for Ana include becoming her daughter’s horse when she grows out of her pony.

“Seven’s” Luck Continues with New Owner

Fuhrluck aka "Seven" last summer working - sleek and shiney

Fuhrluck aka "Seven" last summer working - sleek and shiney

When I bought Fuhrluck, aka “Seven”, in July of 2007, I would never have considered selling him except for the fact that my trainer, Dayna seemed to have fallen in love with him. I decided it would be best to sell him to someone who had the time to work with him. To be perfectly honest “Seven” is in an even better situation than he was when I had him. Dayna absolutely loves him and she takes better care of her horses than anyone else that I know. The best thing is that I still get to see and ride him.

I originally gave Fuhrluck the barn name of “Seven” because I had bought him on July 7th of 2007 and because 7 is a lucky number. Well, in my opinion “Seven” has found good luck with his new mom, Dayna.

I just want everyone to know that my experience with purchasing a prospect horse from your website was positive in every way. “Seven” is an amazing horse with an awesome, playful and affectionate personality. He’s coming along very well and I think I might even have an opportunity to take him to a few training shows this summer. I most definitely would purchase another horse from your site again if and when the opportunity presents itself. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into saving these beautiful horses. I know it can be discouraging when things don’t work out but you definitely make a huge difference in the lives of so many. Thanks again!

Home Sweet Home

Irish Morning Mist & Megan Brown

Well it has been a very VERY long journey for Irish (Irish Morning Mist) and I. However, I came to realize that my life was not the same without him and it so happened that I was given the opportunity to get him back. He is very happy to be back with his mom and I could not be happier. I am now in a much more secure place in my life and don’t think I could ever give my I-man up EVER again. We have plans to start showing at the end of March and will be either moving to Florida in the summer or back to the Atlanta area (it all depends on how a few things fall into place).

School is doing great and I have a schedule where I am able to ride six days out of the week. Irish is eating up the attention and is happier then i have ever seen him. This experience has shown me that no matter what, if things are meant to be, they will (even if it means a few detours along the way). I will send plenty of updates and pics as Irish and I begin our new journey together.

Thanks and hope all is well,
Megan and Irish

Irish Morning Mist has had several moms – all of whom loved him. Unfortunately, situations in their lives caused them to give up the horse they loved. Megan Brown was one of the moms who gave him up and later was able to pursue getting him back again. She loves this horse and it is our hope that she will continue to be a part of his life. Positive Outcome to Anticipated “Irish Challenge”

Well it’s been a week and we “found” Irish hidden beneath his stubborn façade. My trainer rode him and I rode him a couple of times and finally yesterday we got a break through! He tested us pretty good, BUT he couldn’t stand us persistently asking him “to listen”, and finally we saw the “schoolmaster” that we knew he was! It was beautiful! Even his “eye” changed. The first couple of days he had a “hard” eye and yesterday and today his eye was so soft and relaxed.
