Here’s the latest in our series of Wolfie & Laurie videos at horse shows. Wolfie continues to improve and develop, and the team earned 3 blues and 1 red plus division champion at a local show. It was their first competition at 3’!

This video is part of a contest and is dedicated to my ex-racehorse, Kim’s Rahy, who I rescued eight years ago. He represents the thousands of horses, just like him , who deserve a second chance. This video is entered on behalf of CANTER NEW ENGLAND and their undying efforts to see it through that no horse falls through the cracks and ends up in a slaughterhouse. It was a “classic” for $ with some bending lines etc.

A couple short distances but getting much better.

This was a 2’3” – 2’6” course and he does better at the slightly higher height.

He sort of lazes over the lower ones now.

We are going to do a Two-Day show in March and then the PB local circuit starts in April.

He has really settled and developed, no shanigans this time.  Loaded straight away coming and going, no silliness in the warm up area.

I am so sorry I didnt meet up with you in Boston. As it turned out I did not go to Equine Affaire for work reasons….I was finishing up my final weeks with my current company and was finalizing the details of my new role with Schleese Saddlery! I am not sure if you have ever heard of Schleese, but I am so excited to work with them! (www.Schleese.com) ANYWAY, the reason why I am emailing is that my friend posted a video of “Who” jumping 1m (3′3″).

As I have said before, they love him and he has found a forever home in their barn! I will be in Mexico in a few weeks and will take some pictures myself…doesnt “Who” look fantastic? He is 17h, black and shiny, with a tail that touches the ground. He is SUPER quiet.

Elizabeth’s Note: Whozierhurry was our first International sale. He was resold when his owner moved back to the United States. “Who” is doing very well as a jumper in Mexico and it looks like he may have found a forever home! That is always our goal when placing these wonderful ex-race horses.
