I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that after a long, hard search, “Bailey” has found a wonderful new home! He is now living at a private farm just five miles up the road from me, with a young girl named Colbie. Colbie is just getting into jumping and showing English, and loves his forward, eager personality. She’s spent lots of time walking him, handgrazing, and giving him carrots in exchange for treats, and he seems to love her as much as he loved “his” mares. I think that all of the other prospective owners fell through because he was meant to be with Colbie right now…
Bailey is a very special horse and I’m glad for the time we had together. I gave Colbie your contact information so that she can continue to send in updates and success stories. In the meantime, I’m attaching a picture of them playing together in his new paddock. 🙂
Wishing you all the best,
~ Nikki Surusco
