“Moose” is the Popular One at his New Home

Popular One aka Moose and his personal assistant Nick already have a strong bond

I wanted to give you an update on “Moose” (Popular One). He is the love of my husband’s life! (next to me, I hope)! My husband, Nick, has never been around horses before. He has been taught how to halter and lead horses and is the one who brings “Moose” in from the pasture at night, puts him on the cross ties, grooms him, and picks his hooves. He is so absolutely thrilled with “Moose.”

We have taken “Moose’s” transition real slow and now he is so chilled out. He is turned out with two other horses who love him. “Moose” is the alpha horse…not sure why. He never bites or kicks the other horses. He just looks at them and holds his ground.

We haven’t started riding him yet. That will come soon enough. Right now we have formed a bond and will go from there. I do think that “Moose” is an exceptional horse. He has more personality than any horse I have ever been around. He really likes people. Thank you so much for all your help when we were looking for a horse. “Moose” is perfect.
