OTTB Ronnie retires sound from the track and ready for his second career

Here was his Prospect Horse FOR SALE information:
“Ronnie” is a 2000, 16’3 hh grey Thoroughbred gelding for sale. He has personality plus with lots of love to give. He is very well mannered on the ground and when being ridden. He is everyone’s favorite horse at the track. My contact has followed him for four years now and she loves his sweet personality. He is a great mover on the track and very easy to ride. He is clean legged and is being retired sound. His owner wants a good home for him with someone that is going to enjoy and love him and much as he does. He would make a great eventer or dressage horse.

Has been turned out and is good with other horses in the pasture. He did bleed in his last start that is the only reason why he is no longer racing. This is not a problem that will ever occur as a sport horse as we do not push them to the degree that they do at the end of a race.

It is time for “Ronnie” to enjoy being a horse instead of being at the track. He is up to date on everything. He loves his baths and is good for the blacksmith. He is definitely another Construction or Leaderboard — he is very laid back but very willing to do what ever you want.

“Ronnie” is a Danzig and Spectacular Bid (1979 Kentucky Derby winner) grandson. Danzig babies are great sport horses and highly sought after by event riders. Northern Dancer, Alydar, Bold Ruler, Neartic and Raise a Native are all in his pedigree. This boy is very well bred and he has held up to racing this long and still he is retiring sound. Can you give him a new career and lots of love? Big grey horses go fast so please call.
